Afef is a senior executive in the telecom industry with a strong technical and managerial background. She is a graduate the Tunis telecommunications engineering school (Sup’Com), and Warwick Business School (MBA).Afef started her career with Tunisian private mobile operators, contributing to the launch of Ooredoo (formerly Tunisiana) in 2002 and Orange Tunisia in 2010. She led product and service engineering departments, driving innovative service launches.From 2015 to 2021, Afef directed the Orange Group lab at Sofrecom Tunisia, promoting innovative mobile services across subsidiaries in the Middle East, Africa, and France. Currently, she leads the ITN & Data AI Jobline strategy for Orange Group, focusing on future skillsets in innovation, including devops, network softwarization, and generative AI. Afef’s role emphasizes expert community-building and preparing the skills evolution for major technological transformations.
